1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the FamilyFlow mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
FamilyFlow is a family coordination application that provides:
- Family calendar management and event scheduling
- Real-time location sharing among family members
- Activity tracking and assignment
- AI-powered tardiness prediction and alerts
- Event notes and checklists
- Family profile management
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
You must create an account to use FamilyFlow. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
3.2 Age Requirements
- You must be 18 years or older to create an account
- Parents/guardians must create and manage accounts for children under 13
- By creating a child account, you certify that you are the parent or legal guardian
4. Acceptable Use
4.1 You Agree To:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Use the App only for family coordination
- Respect the privacy of other family members
- Keep your account information accurate and up-to-date
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
4.2 You Agree NOT To:
- Use the App to stalk, harass, or harm others
- Share your account with people outside your family
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or other users' data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without permission
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
5. Location Services
FamilyFlow uses location services to provide:
- Travel time estimates
- Tardiness prediction and alerts
- Family member location sharing
You consent to location tracking when you enable location services. You can disable location services at any time in iOS Settings. Location data is only shared with family members you explicitly add to your family group.
6. Privacy and Data
Your use of FamilyFlow is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
7. User Content
7.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to FamilyFlow ("User Content"), including:
- Calendar events and notes
- Family profiles and photos
- Activities and tasks
- Checklists and comments
7.2 License to Us
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your User Content solely to:
- Provide and improve FamilyFlow services
- Sync your data across your devices
- Share with family members you designate
7.3 Responsibility for Content
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you have all necessary rights to upload and share your User Content.
8. Intellectual Property
FamilyFlow and all associated trademarks, logos, and content (excluding User Content) are owned by FamilyFlow, Inc. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written permission.
9. Third-Party Services
FamilyFlow integrates with third-party services including:
- Apple CloudKit (data sync)
- Firebase (authentication)
- Google Maps (location services)
- Apple Calendar (calendar sync)
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party services.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Tardiness predictions will be accurate
- Data sync will always succeed
- The App will meet your specific requirements
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from reliance on tardiness predictions
- Damages from third-party services or integrations
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months (or $100 if the App is free).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FamilyFlow, Inc. and our affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your User Content
13. Termination
13.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Going to Settings → Account → Delete Account in the App
- Emailing us at support@familyflow.pro
13.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Abuse or harass other users
- Fail to pay fees (if applicable)
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to the App will be revoked
- Your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy
- These Terms will continue to apply to past use
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting updated Terms in the App
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Sending a notification for significant changes
Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Dispute Resolution
15.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@familyflow.pro to attempt informal resolution.
15.2 Binding Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.
15.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity, not as part of a class action, except where prohibited by law.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FamilyFlow.
